Responsibilities for the Microsoft Senior Software Engineer Remote India Role

As a Microsoft Senior Software Engineer Remote India, you’ll take full ownership of backend infrastructure components for Azure storage nodes powered by DPUs. Key responsibilities include:

Design & Architecture

Collaborate on designing distributed storage primitives that run on Fungible DPUs.
Define APIs, data flow patterns, and communication protocols for DPU‑accelerated services.
Ensure design adheres to Microsoft’s security, scalability, and reliability standards.

Development & Integration

Write efficient, maintainable code in C, C++, Java, or Python for backend services.
Integrate your modules with Microsoft’s control-plane and deployment tools.
Contribute to open‑source or internal libraries where applicable for reuse.

Quality Assurance & Observability

Create automated tests, benchmarks, and stress tests to validate component performance.
