About the Role – What You’ll Do

As a Product Analyst Role, you won’t just be supporting software — you’ll be influencing how major global retail brands run their product lifecycle operations. PTC’s FlexPLM and Windchill tools are deployed across complex cloud ecosystems used by companies like Puma, Ralph Lauren, and Nike. In this role, you’ll act as the technical bridge between the product, implementation team, and end-users.

You will own a variety of responsibilities, including cloud deployment troubleshooting, technical issue resolution, system configuration, log analysis, and sometimes hands-on implementation work. No two days are the same. You’ll be required to dive deep into application stacks, help internal teams and clients resolve bottlenecks, and make sure cloud deployments run smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing Daily

  • Monitor cloud deployment status across multiple clients and resolve technical bottlenecks.
  • Review logs and backend server responses to isolate causes for functional or UI issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for bugs and inconsistencies reported by clients or internal QA.
  • Participate in agile meetings and collaborate with product managers and dev teams.
  • Manage deployment configurations and push updates using scripts or configuration files.
  • Work on long-term implementation projects involving the configuration of PTC’s PLM solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for recurring issues, custom configurations, and fixes.

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Java (Intermediate Level)
  • HTML, JavaScript for debugging UI issues
  • SQL (Complex Joins, Procedures, Index Optimization)
  • Basic shell scripting in Linux/Unix
  • Exposure to cloud environments – preferably AWS or Azure
  • Comfort with working across log analyzers, configuration files, and remote desktop sessions

Nice to Have (Good to Bring Along)

  • Previous experience with FlexPLM or Windchill is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is a huge plus.
  • Understanding of enterprise-level cloud deployment strategies.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Linux is a big bonus.

Soft Skills That Will Set You Apart

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
  • Comfortable handling client interactions and team collaborations.
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
  • Excellent English communication – verbal and written.
  • Curious and eager to learn — this is not a repetitive support job.

Career Growth at Product Analyst Role

This is a launchpad role for those aiming to specialize in PLM, DevOps, or Technical Product Management. Within 1–2 years, top performers often move into:

  • Solution Architect or Implementation Consultant roles
  • DevOps Engineering (internal cloud tools)
  • Customer Engineering / Onboarding Teams
  • Product Specialist roles with more customer engagement

PTC also invests in your learning with access to internal training modules, product certifications, and cloud upskilling programs.

Meet Your Team

You’ll work closely with a global team that spans the US, Germany, and India. While your core base will be Pune, most team interactions are virtual and async. You’ll report to a Team Lead or Engineering Manager in the Retail Business Unit and collaborate frequently with DevOps, QA, and Product Engineering teams.

What to Expect in the Interview

  • 1st Round: Resume screening + HR introductory call
  • 2nd Round: Technical screening (basic coding, SQL, logs analysis)
  • 3rd Round: Managerial round (scenario-based discussion)
  • Optional: Team Fitment / Client Communication round

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
